The purpose of this MARADMIN is to announce the FY26 volunteer period for SNCOA Faculty Advisor positions and Curriculum Developer positions, and to solicit applications from qualified Marines. 2. Headquarters Marine Corps will accept applications year-round for projected vacancies of Marine Corps SNCOA Faculty Advisor and Curriculum Developer billets for all academies listed below. 2.a. SNCOA Faculty Advisor vacancies exist at the following locations (read in two columns): MCC Location Vacancies JAB SNCOA Camp Pendleton, CA August 2026 and beyond JBF SNCOA Camp Lejeune, NC March 2026 and beyond JBG SNCOA Camp Butler, Okinawa April 2026 and beyond JBJ SNCOA 29 Palms, CA October 2026 TZ8 SNCOA Quantico, VA Immediate 068 Marine Corps University Quantico, VA Immediate 2.b. All Curriculum Developer vacancies are located in Quantico, VA. 2.c. The Marines order of preference contained in the application will be considered; however, a Marine must be willing to accept assignment to any SNCOA vacancy listed in this MARADMIN. 3. Tour Length. The normal tour length for a Faculty Advisor or Curriculum Developer is 24 - 36 months, at the discretion of CMC (MMEA), in accordance with reference (b). 4. Eligibility Requirements. Marines applying for SNCOA duty must meet and comply with the following criteria: 4.a. All Staff Sergeants through Master Sergeants are eligible for SNCOA duty. 4.b. Marines must have completed required Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME) for current grade. Bachelors or Associates degree, previous instructor experience, or previous completion of instructor courses are preferred, but not required. 4.c. Marines must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in word processing and presentation software. 4.d. Marines with documented adversity will be closely reviewed for pattens in questionable character and integrity violations. 4.e. Marines must pass a PFT, be capable of participating in the physical fitness program, and be within height and weight standards. 4.f. Marines must be in compliance with the Marine Corps Tattoo policy. 4.g. A Marine whose security clearance is due to be out of scope within the next 12 months, must initiate a reinvestigation with their Security Manager and have an open investigation before departure. Marines whose security clearance eligibility has been denied or revoked are not eligible. A Security Manager’s letter will be attached to the application verifying eligibility. 4.h. Marines must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks and Credit Check (NACLC), or Tier 3, investigation. 5. Application Contents. Marine's completed applications will be attached to a Reenlistment, Extension, and Lateral Move submitted through the Total Force Retention System and contain the following: 5.a. Completed EPME SNCO Academy Faculty Advisor Screening Checklist, records of disciplinary actions contained in the Marine’s service record, Security Clearance Eligibility Verification Letter. 5.b. EPME SNCO Academy Faculty Screening Checklist with commanding officer endorsement, located at: https://www.usmcu.edu/ceme/recruitment/ 5.c. Security Clearance Eligibility Letter from the command Security Manager. 6. Marines must be willing to accept the required obligated service for assignment to SNCOA. 7.
