This MARADMIN solicits nominations for the core  members identified in the Manpower and Personnel Administration (MPA)  Board Charter. 2.  Reference (a) is the MPA Board Charter signed on 15 November  2024, which establishes a formalized infrastructure to guide and  govern the Manpower and Personnel Administration (MPA) community. By  creating a multi-tiered board structure—comprising the Executive  Steering Group (ESG), Administrative Advisory Board (AAB), and  Administrative Advisory Group (AAG)—the charter ensures strategic  alignment, efficient decision-making, and clear communication across  all levels of the MPA community. In alignment with Marine Corps  Talent Management initiatives, this formalized board enhances  lethality while addressing the complexities of modern administrative  demands, streamlining processes, and creating a unified approach to  support Marine Corps objectives. 3.  The MPA Board’s effectiveness as a communication forum and  decision-making body relies on the regular contribution of advisory  members at every level, representing departments, agencies, and units  across the Marine Corps enterprise.  The AAB is a critical component  of the MPA Board, responsible for gathering and providing  comprehensive feedback from Fleet Marine Force and supporting  establishment units regarding initiatives that directly impact their  commands. The AAB votes on initiatives submitted from stakeholders  across the Total Force to the AAG and ensures the MPA Board’s  priorities are executed, ensuring that perspectives from across the  force are incorporated into the decision-making process.  Final  recommendations are forwarded to the ESG for review or returned to  the AAG for further refinement and staffing. 3.a.  The MPA Board seeks one command representative from the list  below to serve on the AAB. The nominee must have the authority to  make decisions on behalf of their command, ensure their unit’s  perspectives and priorities are accurately reflected in the AAB's  deliberations, and commit to participating in all scheduled AAB  meetings and related activities.  The below commands shall submit  a primary and alternate nominee for the AAB.  MARFORCOM/MARFORNORTH MARFORPAC MARFORRES/MARFORSOUTH MARCENT MARFOREUR/AF I MEF II MEF III MEF MCI - WEST MCI - EAST MCI - PAC PA SCHOOL 3.b.  The expectations for nominees are that they will actively  contribute to discussions and decision-making processes, serve as  a Core Member, representing their command throughout their  assignment, participate in quarterly meetings, including initial  in-person sessions and virtual follow-ups, and meet all preparation  requirements (e.g., reviewing agendas and Read-A-Heads), and Notify  the AAB Chair in advance if unable to attend a meeting and provide  input before the meeting to ensure representation. 3.c.  At this time, all engagements for the AAB’s quarterly meetings  will be conducted on Microsoft Teams. If an in-person meeting is  deemed required, travel costs for in-person meetings will be funded  by the nominee’s parent command. Meeting agendas, dates, and other  logistical details will be provided no later than 60 days before any  in-person meeting. 3.d.  New members will receive orientation materials, including the  MPA Board Charter, AAB Business Rules, and other foundational  documents.  After nominations are received, the MARADMIN POCs will  familiarize members with the AAB’s structure, processes, and  expectations. 4. Submission Timeline.  Nomination packages will be submitted no  later than 14 February 2025 via MS Forms at:  https://forms.osi.apps.mil/r/kb4njdXyTj.  G-1 representatives may  either contact the MARADMIN POCs or submit a request via the above  link to gain access to the Forms Page. 5. This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force. 6. Release authorized by LtGen Michael J. Borgschulte, Deputy  Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.//
