The 2024 Women In Defense (WID) National Conference will be held on 24 September 2024 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel at 2800 South Potomac Avenue, Arlington, Virginia. 2. Since 1981, WID’s goal has been to provide professional development and networking opportunities to women working in support of United States National Security. The 2024 WID National Conference will bring together more than 500 women from across the nation to network and learn from government and industry experts. WID’s National Conference seeks to strengthen the defense industrial base by educating, empowering, and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce. WID is a non-federal entity wholly independent of the Marine Corps. More information can be found on their website at www.womenindefense.net. 3. During the 2024 WID National Conference, attendees will benefit from workshops and networking sessions to build and strengthen knowledge, skills, and abilities to collaborate with national security professionals in a period of strategic competition. The conference will focus on elements of the United States National Security Strategy which identity nation-state competitors and transnational extremist groups as significant national security concerns. 4.
