MARSHALL/MGYSGT/MMEA-3/TEL: 703-784-1333/EMAIL:  [email protected]// POC/D.LEW/GYSGT/MMEA-3/TEL:703-784-3358/ EMAIL: [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Manpower Management Enlisted Assignment Branch  at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps will host a Career Planner  Symposium from 2 December 2024 to 6 December 2024. 1.a.  The symposium will include a series of informational briefs  and guided discussions to consider effective methods to retain the  most qualified Marines for future retention seasons. 1.b.  The symposium is intended for career planners filling a billet at a Major Subordinate Element and a Major Subordinate Command or  Prior Service Recruiter supporting the Direct Affiliation Program.  Participation is capped at 40 Marines.  1.c.  The following Command Career Planners are encouraged to  attend: Marine Forces Command Marine Forces Pacific Marine Forces Special Operations Command Marine Forces Reserve 4th Marine Division 4th Marine Aircraft Wing 4th Marine Logistics Group Force Headquarters Group I Marine Expeditionary Force 1st Marine Division 3d Marine Aircraft Wing 1st Marine Logistics Group II Marine Expeditionary Force 2d Marine Division 2d Marine Aircraft Wing 2d Marine Logistics Group III Marine Expeditionary Force 3d Marine Division 1st Marine Aircraft Wing 3d Marine Logistics Group Marine Corps Installations Command – East Marine Corps Installations Command – West Marine Corps Installations Command – Pacific Marine Corps Installations Command - NCR Training & Education Command Training Command Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Marine Corps Logistics Command Marine Corps Recruiters School 2.  The symposium will be held at Liversedge Hall, large  conference room, 15 Liversedge Drive Quantico, VA 22134. 2.a.  Marines traveling OCONUS will depart duty stations on 30  November, while CONUS Marines depart on 1 December. The return date  is 7 December for OCONUS and CONUS. 3.  Funding for symposium participation is the responsibility of the attendees’ parent command. 3.a.  Government messing is not available. 3.b.  Billeting.  Attendees will stay at Liversedge Hall, 15  Liversedge Drive, Quantico, VA 22134. Attendees must make  reservations before arriving. All attendees must confirm  reservations by calling Liversedge Hall (703)432-1341 or Inns of the Corps (703)630-4444 before 15 November 2024. Attendees should  identify themselves as part of the FY25 Career Planner Symposium. 3.c.  It is recommended that Career Planners traveling from the same geographic locations share rental car expenses whenever feasible.  Attendees should make all efforts to reduce costs associated with  the symposium. 3.d.  Uniform for the symposium is woodland MARPAT. 4.  All attendees will notify the POCs listed above via email NLT 15 November 2024 utilizing the following format:     Rank     Name     Unit     DSN/COMM Phone     Email Address 4.a.  Attendees will receive a confirmation receipt.  Marines  who fail to provide all necessary information by the deadline above  will not be considered for attendance. 5.  Release authorized by MajGen Ryan S.
