Tseng, R.              0102    H61     Univ. of Arizona Upadhyaya, T.          0802    H96     Univ. of Wisconsin Vazquez, J.            0102    H92     Vanderbilt Univ. 3.b.  Alternate selectees 3.b.1.  The board selected the following officers as alternates for Executive Officer assignments: Name                   MOS Kerstetter, R.         0202 Maldonado, A.          3002 Patitsas, N.           0102 Whitaker, S.           6002 3.b.2.  The board selected the following officers as alternates for MOI assignments: Name                   MOS Garcia, M.             1302 Gee II, L.             0402 Grippo, F.             7204 Luna, L.               0202 Mangseth, S.           1302 Miller, M.             1302 Miller, N.             6002 Proctor, B.            6602 Skwarlo III, S.        0402 Templeman, J.          0802 Trogdon, H.            3404 Zelek, J.              0102 4.  Coordinating instructions 4.a.  Primary selectees.   4.a.1.  Acceptance of selection.  Primary selectees shall accept or decline via email to their PMOS monitor no later than (NLT) 15 November 2024.  4.b.  Alternate selectees.  No action is required on the part of officers on the alternate list in paragraph 3.b.  In the event that a billet becomes vacant, Manpower Management will fleet-up an officer from the alternate list.  PMOS monitors will directly contact any alternate selected as a fleet-up. 4.c.  Declinations and deferrals   4.c.1.  Declinations.  Officers who decline assignment to an NROTC billet must submit a declination in writing (AA form) via the first general officer (PNS) or first O6 (XO) in their chain of command addressed to HQMC via MMOA-3 NLT 15 November 2024.  Officers who decline will be ineligible for future NROTC billets, unless otherwise approved by the Director, Manpower Management. 4.c.2.  Deferrals.  Officers selected for assignment to a PNS or XO billet who are unable to execute orders due to extraordinary circumstances may request a deferral.  If approved, the Director, Manpower Management will defer the Marine to a future NROTC selection panel.  Primary selectees may submit a deferral request in writing (AA Form) via the first general officer in their chain of command addressed to HQMC via MMOA-3.   5.  Each officer assigned to NROTC duty will become part of the  university staff.  Orders will not be issued until nominations are accepted by the assigned university. 6.  Release authorized by MajGen Ryan S.
