ODONNELL/LT/BLUE ANGELS APPLICANTS OFFICER/ TEL: (850) 452-4650/DSN 922-4650 / (760) 339-2509/ DSN 658-2509/ EMAIL: [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The United States Navy Flight Demonstration  Squadron (NFDS) (Blue Angels) may select one Captain/Major C-130 Demonstration Pilot for the 2026-2028 show seasons.  2.  Interested officers should submit applications per reference (a) by 30 April 2025 to the points of contact indicated in paragraph 5.  Applicants must contact their monitor listed in paragraph 6.b. to  determine eligibility prior to beginning the application process.  The NFDS will make final selections in July 2025. 3.  Qualifications and Eligibility.  Applicants must be active duty commissioned officers with the following specific qualifications: 3.a.  C-130 demonstration pilot applicants must have an aircraft commander rating in the C-130J and should have approximately 1,200  hours of flight time and completed Advanced Flight Training with an  average or greater composite score. 3.b.  Applicants should have completed 24 months time-on-station  (TOS) by 1 September 2025.  Additionally, applicants currently  assigned outside of the continental United States (OCONUS) shall  complete their tour control factor by 1 September 2025 to be  eligible.  Applicants must notify their PMOS monitor and receive  email confirmation confirming they meet TOS requirements to include in their application. 4.   Manpower Management Officer Assignments (MMOA) will approve all selectees prior to issuing of orders.  Pilots will be required to  remain on active duty for two years following completion of their  assignment with the Blue Angels. 5.  Reference (a) delineates application procedures. 5.a.  All interested officers must submit their applications to the Blue Angels Applicants Officer.  The Blue Angels transition between east and west locations throughout the year. 5.a.1.  Applications submitted before 1 March 2025 must be sent to:      Commanding Officer     Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron     Attn:  LT Connor ODonnell     Naval Air Facility El Centro     1605 Third Street     Hangar 5     El Centro, CA 92243 5.a.2.  Applications submitted between 2 March 2025 and 30 April  2025 must be sent to:      Commanding Officer     Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron     Attn:  LT Connor ODonnell     390 San Carlos Road, Suite A     Pensacola, FL 32508-5508  5.b.  Officers may deliver applications in-person to the Pensacola  location beginning 15 March 2025.  5.c.  In addition, officers shall submit copies of their application  to MMOA-2 electronically using the following address:  [email protected] with PMOS monitor on the CC line. 6.  Points of contact 6.a.  Blue Angels.  For additional information, visit the Blue  Angels website at https://www.blueangels.navy.mil or  contact the Blue Angels Applicants Officer: LT Connor ODonnell, Blue Angels Applicants Officer   Pensacola, FL.  DSN: 922-4650, Comm: (850) 452-4650   El Centro, CA (Jan-Mar).  DSN: 658-2509, Comm: (760) 339-2509    Email: [email protected]. 6.b.  MMOA monitors.
