GOSS/MAJ/MMOA-3/ (703) 784-9285/ EMAIL:  [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  On 18 October 2024, a panel consisting of three  General Officers convened to screen eligible colonels for assignment  to colonel acquisition command as the Commanding Officer of Marine  Aviation Detachment, Naval Air Station Patuxent River. 2.  Command screening ensures that Marines receive the best possible leadership while providing all eligible officers with a fair and  equitable opportunity to compete for command. 3.
