In addition to the eligibility requirements contained in reference  (a) and paragraphs 3-7, Marines applying for the above mentioned  billets, other than the US Naval Academy (see paragraph 9), must meet and comply with the following criteria: 8.a.  Regular active-duty Marines in the grade of Staff Sergeant through Master Sergeant. 8.b.  Successfully completed a Drill Instructor tour with an Additional Military Occupational Specialty of 0911. 8.c.  Possess a minimum General Technical score of 100 (AMOI duty only).  Requests for Exception to Policy (ETP) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  8.d.  Possess a minimum of 250 Physical Fitness Test (PFT) score for Officer Candidate School or a 215 PFT score for Marine Corps Recruit Depots and Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) at time of submission.  8.e.  Marines must complete the Drill Instructor Duty Checklist  (NAVMC 11705), provided in appendix E of reference (a). 8.f.  Marines applying for this program must be willing to accept assignment to any vacancy listed in paragraph 2. 8.g.  Marines selected for AMOI duty will be required to execute  their Permanent Change of Station moves and report to their  respective NROTC units no later 31 March 2026. Upon reporting,  Marines should expect to augment to Officer Candidate School summer  training from April 2026 through August 2026. 9.  US Naval Academy Eligibility requirements.  In addition to the  eligibility requirements contained in reference (a) and paragraphs  1-7, Marines applying for the US Naval Academy, must meet and comply with the following criteria: 9.a.  Regular active-duty Marines in the grade of Staff Sergeant or Gunnery Sergeant.  9.b.  Must have successfully completed a SDA or screenable billet,  in accordance with reference (a).  The Senior Enlisted Leader billets are no longer restricted to second tour drill instructors. 9.c.  Possess a minimum General Technical score of 100.  Requests for exception to policy (ETP) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 9.d.  Possess a current first-class Physical Fitness Test score at the time of submission. 9.e.  Marines interested in an assignment to USNA, must download the USNA application at https:(slash)(slash)www.usna.edu/USMC/index.php and submit the completed application with attachments electronically using the SDA request in the Total Force Retention System (TFRS) to CMC (MMEA-25) via the normal Reenlistment Extension Lateral Move (RELM) routing chain.  Unit Career Planners have access to the TFRS program.   9.f. Must complete the Independent Duty Checklist (NAVMC 11710),  provided in appendix E of reference (a). 9.g.  Marines selected for US Naval Academy will be required to  execute their Permanent Change of Station moves and report no later  31 May 2026.  10.  Marines are authorized to submit for these billets year round.  The no later than for submission is 31 December 2025, applications  with attachments must be submitted electronically using the SDA  request in the Total Force Retention System (TFRS) to CMC (MMEA-25)  via the normal Reenlistment Extension Lateral Move (RELM) routing  chain.  Unit Career Counselor have access to the TFRS program.   The enclosures to the RELM will contain the following: 10.a.  Administrative Action Form listing in order of precedence the  billets for which applying, dates served on Drill Instructor Duty  or screenable billet, and any other relevant information that should be considered.   10.b.  Gunnery Sergeants must annotate their promotion preference  (M or F). 11.  This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve. 12.  Release authorized by MajGen Ryan S.
