GREENFIELD/CIV/DC I/IMD/TEL: 703-784-5129/EMAIL:  [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to  solicit nominees to attend Fiscal Year 2026 Cyber Electromagnetic  Warfare Operations Officer Course.  Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare  Operations Officer Course is the primary training for billets with  the Necessary Military Occupational Specialty (NMOS) 1704,  Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) Planner.  Ranks listed in paragraph 4 are eligible to attend.  Per reference a, only  Commissioned Officers (Capt to LtCol) are eligible to receive the  1704 NMOS on their records. 2.  Background.  The Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare Operations  Officer Course will educate EMSO Planners to plan, integrate,  coordinate, supervise, de-conflict, and assess Fleet Marine Force  (FMF) actions that exploit, attack, protect, and manage the  electromagnetic environment and electromagnetic battlespace in  support of naval and FMF objectives. 3.  Course Information. 3.a.  Course Names and Description. 3.a.1.  Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare Operations Officer Course  (A09D212):  This course includes education and training on the  following topics associated with the duties and responsibilities of  the Electronic Warfare Officer:  Understand the Evolution of  Electronic Warfare (EW); Understand Joint and Army Electronic  Warfare Doctrine; Apply Joint EW Planning and Lethal/Nonlethal  Targeting; Utilize Classified Networks and Secure Web Based Programs to Identify World-Wide EW Threats; Understand the Relationship of  Mission Command (MC) with Physical Attack, Electronic Attack (EA),  Electronic Support (ES), Offensive Cyber Operations, and Defensive  Cyber Operations; Understand Concepts of Joint EW Guidance and  Policy; Apply Basic Electricity and Electromagnetic Spectrum  Theories as they Relate to Electronic Warfare Tasks; Identify the  Characteristics, Capabilities, and Limitations of Radar Systems,  Army Electronic Attack and Electronic Support Systems; Describe the  Fundamentals of Radio Communications as they Pertain to EW and  Counter Radio-controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic  Warfare (CREW) Employment; Identify and State Electronic,  Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS), Radio Detection and Ranging, Global  Positioning System, and Communication/Network Principles as they  Relate to EW and MC; Identify Commercial Antenna Types and their  Uses; Identify Various Electronic Devices and their Use of the EMS;  Identify Capabilities of Joint EW Ground, Air, Surface, and  Subsurface EA Systems; Identify the Basic Functions and Capabilities of EW Tools such as Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool, E-Space, Builder, Secure Internet Protocol Router, and the Spectrum  Analyzer; Understand the Capabilities of Joint & Army Air and Ground ES Systems; Integrate and De-conflict EW and Signals Intelligence  Assets; Understand the Relationship of Spectrum Management,  Frequency De-confliction and Electronic Attack; Identify Steps of  the Military Decision Making Process. 3.a.2.  Location:  Fort Gordon, Georgia. 3.a.3.  Training Days:  93. 3.a.4.  All students to abide by DoD travel restrictions, found at: https:(slash)(slash)www.defense.gov. 3.a.5.  Available course numbers and dates (read in three columns): Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare Operations Officer Course: Course Number  Check In Date   Graduation Date 001            20 OCT 25       05 FEB 26 002            12 JAN 26       15 APR 26 003            23 FEB 26       26 MAY 26 004            04 MAY 26       06 AUG 26 005            08 AUG 26       10 SEP 26 006            10 AUG 26       12 SEP 26  3.b.  Funding.  All TAD costs must be funded by the student’s  command, and applications must also include a statement of  acknowledgment indicating that the student’s command is aware of the TAD funding requirement.  HQMC DC I will not guarantee funding. 4.  Course Eligibility. 4.a.  Rank:  Active Duty Officers, Captain through Lieutenant  Colonel. 4.b.  Education:  There are no unique educational prerequisites for  the Cyber Electromagnetic Warfare Operations Officer Course.   Students must possess a GT score of 110 or higher. 4.c.  Security Clearance:  All students must have a verified Top  Secret (TS) clearance with single scope background investigation  (SSBI) (TS-SSBI) access prior to class report date.  Must be a U.S. Citizen.  These requirements cannot be waived. 5.  Application Procedures. 5.a.  All applications will be submitted via Administrative Action  Form (NAVMC 10274) to the Information Maneuver Division (IMD)  Occupational Field organization mailbox at [email protected]. 5.b.  Specific Instructions for Application. 5.b.1.  Block 6.  Appropriate MEF or United States Marine Corps  Forces Command point of contact, or “None”. 5.b.2.  Block 7.
