Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Eastern Recruiting Region is the recipient of the Von Steuben Superior Unit Performance Award.  The Von Steuben Award is presented to a unit evaluated in a Comprehensive Command Inspection by IGMC during the inspection year. 2.b. Marine Corps Recruiting Command is the recipient of the General Shoup Superior Unit Performance Award.  The General Shoup Award is presented to a unit evaluated in an Independent Command Inspection by IGMC during the inspection year. 2.c.
