Class V(W) ammunition and explosives are managed according to the provision outlined in REF A. Historically, Aviation Ordnance personnel have managed Class V(W) ammunition in the same manner as Class V(A) ammunition, as described in REFs B and C. However, the management methods differ significantly, despite maintaining the same information and accuracy requirements. To address these discrepancies between requirements and execution, REF A will be updated to incorporate the following guidance, which is effective on the date of this MARADMIN. 2.A. In circumstances where Class V(W) ammunition is stored at locations where Aviation Ordnance Technicians (MOS 65xx) are the responsible authority for inventory management, the requirements in REFs B and C are the authoritative sources that shall be followed for inventory control and management. 4.
