The CY26 FBINA selection board concluded on 20 June 2025. The quality of Marines and civilian police who applied were exceptional, and the competition for academy seats was excellent. Any nominees not accepted on this board are encouraged to apply for the CY27 FBINA. 2. The selection board was comprised of voting members of the law enforcement working group. 2.a. As part of the FBINA registration process, personnel approved to attend must be in a full duty status and have passed their most recent physical fitness test. 3.b. Marines who attend will incur three years of obligated service after the completion of the FBINA. Civilian nominees must agree to continue service as a Marine Corps law enforcement officer upon completion of the training for a period at least equal to three times the length of the training. 3.c. Selected personnel shall complete the online national academy application via the FBI virtual academy website at reference b. Instructions and deadlines for completing the national academy application will be released via sepcor. Incomplete applications will be returned. Applications not completed 180 days prior their assigned session start date will result in the selectee forfeiting their session. 4. Travel, per diem, and administrative cost associated with travel to and from the FBINA will be provided by MCICOM G-3. Government quarters and meals are provided by the FBINA. 5. Personnel who were considered, but not selected, and personnel listed as alternates, if not used, must resubmit for consideration for selection on future FBINA boards. If a nominee is unable to attend their designated CY26 FBINA session, they will be ineligible to attend an FBINA session during CY26 and must resubmit for consideration for selection on future FBINA boards. 6.
