However, each department, operating independently, becomes its own center of excellence – uninformed by the priorities and constraints of adjacent commands and uninformed by the current state of fleet operations. HQMC Aviation is uniquely postured to serve as the fusion center for all matters impacting aviation and aviation support units. As the aviation fusion center, HQMC Aviation is where future concepts and capabilities meet current employment and capabilities as well as current equipment and manpower constraints. Such synchronization is required to best equip the force with effective warfighting units now and into the future. Air Warfare Systems (AWS)-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) leads UAS fusion. 3. The VMU TTF is an enterprise forum that stretches across departments. It is chartered to identify points of friction in the MQ-9A and the Marine Unmanned Expeditionary/Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MUX/MALE) incremental capability spiral plan. Further, the VMU TTF serves as a venue to develop consensus on the technological advancement prioritization for aerial vehicles, their support equipment, infrastructure, and training. Ultimately, the TTF identifies and collaboratively develops solutions to community problems. 4.  VMU TTFs will address a wide breadth of community issues at quarterly working groups. Topics for consideration will be identified in corresponding calling messages and planning guidance. They will also be structured to inform follow-on conferences. 5.   FY25 VMU TTF schedule (subject to refinement) – read in two columns, date and location: DATE                                LOCATION Q1FY25:  18-22 Nov 2024             MCAS Cherry Point Q2FY25:  10-14 Feb 2025             MCAS Kaneohe Bay Q3FY25:  19-23 May 2025             JRB Fort Worth Q4FY25:  21-25 Jul 2025             ANGB Fargo, ND 6.  Process alignment. The FY25 VMU TTF battle rhythm will support and inform on-going conferences such as the TECOM MET/METL and T&R Reviews, Training Management working groups, Marine Aviation Readiness and Operations Summit (MAROS), MOS Manual Revisions, Operational Advisory Groups (OAG), etc. 7.  This message is applicable to HQMC, MAW, MAG, station, and squadron commands. 8.  Release authorized by Lieutenant General B. J. Gering, Deputy Commandant for Aviation.//
