MORALES/GYSGT/DI MONITOR/TEL: 703-432-9475/EMAIL: [email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit applications from qualified Marines for the FY25 AMOI program and second tour Drill Instructors. 2.  Headquarters Marine Corps needs immediate volunteers for the following vacancies: University/Vacancy                           MCC   Location NROTC Morehouse College                      H09   Atlanta, GA NROTC University of Michigan                 H42   Ann Arbor, MI NROTC Norwich University                     H57   Northfield VT NROTC University of Colorado                 H08   Boulder, CO NROTC Virginia Military Institute            H87   Lexington, VA NROTC Norfolk State University               HC4   Norfolk, VA  NROTC Tempe University                       H53   Tempe, AZ NROTC University of Mississippi              H46   Oxford, MS NROTC University of Illinois                 H28   Champaign, IL Naval Officer Training Command               K55   Newport, RI USMC Officer Candidate School                069   Quantico, VA US Naval Academy                             J38   Annapolis, MD MCRD Parris Island                           040   Parris Island, SC MCRD San Diego                               041   San Diego, CA MCRD San Diego Academics Chief DI School     041   San Diego, CA 3.  Tour length.  Second tour assignments at Marine Corps Recruit Depots are 24 months.  All other assignments are 36-month tours. 4.  Eligibility requirements.  In addition to the eligibility requirements contained in reference (a), Marines applying for the above mentioned billets must meet and comply with the following criteria: 4.a.  Regular active duty Marines in the grade of staff sergeant through master sergeant. 4.b.  Successfully completed a Drill Instructor tour with an Additional Military Occupational Specialty of 0911. 4.c.  Possess a minimum General Technical score of 100 (AMOI duty only).  Requests for Exception To Policy (ETP) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  4.d.  Meet height and weight standards. 4.e.  Possess a minimum of 250 Physical Fitness Test (PFT) score for Officer Candidate School or a 215 PFT score for Marine Corps Recruit Depots and Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) at time of submission.  4.f.  Served a minimum of 36 months in Primary Military Occupational Specialty since last Special Duty Assignment (SDA) tour at estimated date of departure.  Requests for ETP will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 4.g.  Have 36 months Time On Station (TOS) at estimated date of  departure, in accordance with reference (b).  TOS requirements for  Marines requesting assignment in the same geographic location do not apply.  Requests for ETP will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 4.h.  Marines applying for this program must be willing to accept assignment to any vacancy listed in paragraph 2. 5.  Marines selected for AMOI duty will be required to execute their Permanent Change of Station moves and report to their respective NROTC units no later 31 March 2025 except for University of  Mississippi (30 September 2025) and US Naval Academy (31 May 2025). Upon reporting, Marines should expect to augment to Officer Candidate School summer training from April through August 2025. 6.  No later than 17 January 2025, applications with attachments must be submitted electronically using the SDA request in the Total Force Retention System (TFRS) to CMC (MMEA-25) via the normal Reenlistment Extension Lateral Move (RELM) routing chain.  Unit Career Counselor have access to the TFRS program.  The enclosures to the RELM will contain the following: 6.a.  Administrative Action form listing in order of precedence (1 through 15) the billets for which applying, dates served on Drill  Instructor Duty, and any other relevant information that should be considered.  Gunnery sergeants must annotate their promotion preference (M or F). 6.b. Drill Instructor Checklist (NAVMC 11705). 6.c. Pictures of tattoo must be submitted IAW TFRS Message Number: A66568. 7.  This MARADMIN is not applicable to the Marine Corps Reserve. 8.  Release authorized by MajGen Ryan S.
