CORR/MGYSGT/MCWL SEA/TEL: (571) 254-7332 /EMAIL: [email protected]// POC/MCWL G-3/USMC/EMAIL:[email protected]// GENTEXT/REMARKS/ 1. Purpose: The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit nominations for the FY26 Marine Corps Warfighting Lab’s Fellowship (MCWL) Program. A MCWL Fellowship will last for no more than 179 days. Fellowship report and end dates are determined based on billet selection. This fellowship brings the skills, experience, and perspective of exceptional Marines and Sailors from across the Naval Service to plan, execute, analyze, and observe activities in direct support of the efforts underway at the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory. Fellows will participate across the lab, functioning in roles as diverse as science and technology development; live-force experimentation; and wargaming development. As a result, fellows will gain valuable insight on the development of future concepts; the development and employment of future technologies; develop skills necessary for conducting live-force experimentation, exercise planning, and adjudication; and develop better understanding and insight into the development and construct of wargames in support of lab activities. These activities are invaluable tools for the warfighter by enhancing personal and professional development. 2.  Background: MCWL generates and examines threat-informed operating concepts and capabilities, providing analytically supported recommendations to inform subsequent force design and development activities. MCWL plans, executes, and analyzes the results of science and technology development, live-force experimentation  and concept-based wargaming to inform the Deputy Commandant, Combat Development & Integration requirements process. Results include the assessment of emerging concepts and capabilities; development of new and innovative tactics, techniques, and procedures; and recommendation of improvements to current and future organizational structures and training. 2.a.  Description: MCWL fellows contribute to the lab’s assessments and recommendations by providing their technical MOS expertise and operational experience in observation, analysis, and reporting along MCWL’s lines of effort. Fellows will participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of activities associated with each Division’s area of responsibility. In short, the fellowship provides Marines the opportunity to be a part of shaping the future of the Marine Corps. 3.  MCWL FY26 Fellowship Concept of Operations:   3.a.  Rank/MOS:  All interested active-duty Corporals to  Gunnery Sergeants, as well as 2nd Lieutenants to Captains  are encouraged to apply.
