The purpose of this MARADMIN is to solicit qualified volunteers for assignment to Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (SNCOA) Deputy Director billets. 2. Deputy Directors are responsible for overseeing the execution of multiple Professional Military Education Programs of Instruction. Personnel in these billets lead a support staff and are responsible for the conduct and development of assigned Faculty Advisors. These billets require articulate senior enlisted leaders who can operate independently and manage multiple schools simultaneously. Headquarters Marine Corps will accept applications for projected vacancies of SNCOA Deputy Director billets for all academies listed below. 2.a. SNCOA Deputy Director vacancies will exist at the following locations: MCC Location JAB SNCOA Camp Pendleton, CA JBF SNCOA Camp Lejeune, NC JBG SNCOA Camp Butler, Okinawa TZ8 SNCOA Quantico, VA 068 Marine Corps University Quantico, VA 2.b. The Marine's order of preference contained in the application will be considered; however, a Marine must be willing to accept assignment to any SNCOA listed in this MARADMIN. 3. Eligibility Requirements 3.a. Must be in the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant. 3.b. Marines must have completed required Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME) for current grade. Bachelors or Associates degree, previous instructor experience, or previous completion of instructor courses are preferred, but not required. 3.c. Marines must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in word processing and presentation software. 3.d. Marines with documented adversity will be closely reviewed for patterns of questionable character and integrity violations. 3.e. Marines must pass a Physical Fitness Test, be capable of participating in the physical fitness program, and be within Body Composition standards. 3.f. Marines must be in compliance with the Marine Corps Tattoo policy. 4. Application Contents. Completed applications will be attached to a Reenlistment, Extension, and Lateral Move (RELM) submitted through the Total Force Retention System and will contain the following: 4.a. Completed EPME SNCO Academy Faculty Advisor Screening Checklist, with commanding officer endorsement, located at: https://www.usmcu.edu/ceme/recruitment/, records of disciplinary actions contained in the Marine’s service record, and Security Clearance Eligibility Verification Letter. 4.b. Security Clearance Eligibility Letter from the command Security Manager. 4.b.1. A Marine whose security clearance is due to be out of scope within the next 12 months must initiate a reinvestigation with their Security Manager and have an open investigation before departure. Marines whose security clearance eligibility has been denied or revoked are not eligible. A Security Manager’s letter will be attached to the application verifying eligibility. 4.b.2. Marines must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks and Credit Check (NACLC), or Tier 3, investigation. 5. Completed applications must be submitted to Headquarters Marine Corps no later than 15 August 2026. 6. Marines must be willing to accept the required obligated service for assignment to SNCOA. 7.
